As a member of OCIMF, the YPF Marine Assurance team plays an active and leading role in the industry. It develops, sets and promotes high standards of safety, awareness and environmental protection.

YPF Vetting, as a key area of YPF Marine Assurance, focuses on reducing the risks associated with the transportation and operations of all vessels and barges nominated for YPF service, carrying YPF cargo or calling at terminals managed or operated by YPF, assessing, through a systemic and technical risk-based approach, their ability to safeguard transport, cargo handling, as well as to conduct STS and mooring operations safely on each occasion they are nominated.
